Vehicle Detail
1971 Honda CL70 Scrambler with 1792 original miles. This particular model was manufactured from 1970 to 1973. I've included a lot of pictures and I think the pictures speak for themselves. This is a very nice unrestored CL70.All the electrics work and has a brand new battery installed. I cleaned and rebuilt the carburetor. Has a brand new NOS Inoue 2.5 X 17 rear tire and tube, the front tire is a Nitro 2.5 X 17 in good condition with only minor sidewall cracks but holds air good, the sprocket shows little wear. Seat is real nice but does have two 1" to 1 1/2" tears on both sides back by the upper shock mounts. Brakes good. Mirrors have chrome pitting on stems and face backs otherwise the rest of the bikes chrome is very nice with only very minor pitting here and there. The tank is the worst part of this motorcycle, has a shallow 2-3" dent on the right side at the tank badge but the badge is not broken, it had gas sitting in it for sometime so I cleaned out the tank and sealed it with redcoat but there was some pitting and bubbling from the old petrol but it does not leak as of now. There is some residual sealant that dripped out from the underside right which I couldn't get completely cleaned off but cant see unless you get down and look at the underside of the tank. I did install a new gas cap. Hopefully the pictures give you a complete description of the overall eye appeal. This bike will be sold AS-IS, local pickup only I will not ship. I do have a PA title in my name to be transferred into the winning bidders name at the time of pickup with winner paying the ransfer fees. I require a $100 deposit due at auctions end to be paid through PayPal the balance due the day of pickup. As far as pickup, my schedule varies from week to week but hopefully we can coordinate for pickup within a couple weeks time. Any questions please ask and thanks for looking.
