Great R1200C - Bike rides and Runs Great. I have owned two of these in my years, This black one (2002) and an older Tan one (1998), I called them my Black and Tan. I like the ride of this bike that much that I wanted to upgrade (this one has the Heated Grips and ABS). This bike has been on numerous road trips across the country. This Bike has never given me a single problem. This has to be one of the most reliable bike models I have ever known, I rate it up there with Goldwings... Personally, I recently moved to SC from IL and now that I have a family I am becoming a bit more conservative with my time and lack the willingness to get on two wheels. I would like a newer jeep that I can take the family with me. There is absolutely nothing mechanically wrong with the bike. Cosmetically it is a little dusty, it has been sitting, There are a few chips here and there, no major dents or dings. Typical condition for a bike with 50K miles. Battery has always been maintained on a trickle charger, yearly oil changes with synthetic. Additional Oil and Filters come with the bike if wanted. Ram Phone holder with USB outlet for charging - I used my phone as a GPS BMW Standard Removable Locking Saddle Bags - Keys match All Lights are LED - I'm big on being seen, I added additional Brake and Driving lights for better viability. You can see the Flame Thrower style Euro lights under the headlight as well as the Lights below on the Forks. Added additional glass style bullet lights that flash when stopping to be seen as well as the tombstone tail light has the blinking LED upgrade. I also added additional stoplight below the license plate that also has turn signals built in. With all the the lights being lit with LED means it is not a draw on the electrical system! All wires were crimp spliced, easily removed if not wanted, none of the lights are drilled to the body or frame so they may be removed without unsightly holes and it keeps the bike stock if that is of interest. Behind the rear seat is a cloth cooler I bungied to the luggage rack, I used it as a Helmet holder, it is a little warn however it served its purpose on the road, yours if you want it, otherwise I can leave it off.
