Vehicle Detail

1969 Ford Torino GT Fastback, being sold as a parts car, there is no paperwork (title) with the car. First thing that pops out is the VIN, still has original rivets in the tag on the windshield but its on the driver's side, which they did in 69. However this car has 68 fenders, grill, hood, tail light trim and hash marks. I believe this to be a very very early 69 build. The only way to prove this is to check the VIN under the fenders and run a Marti Report. This car was to be a donor for another project car but the owner sold it a long time ago. This car has no drive train. It was a 320 4 speed car from the factory and also a bucket seat car. The 4 speed hump is still there and the bucket seat brace. The only item in the interior is the right rear door panel and the upper back seat, that's it. There are no dash items to speak of. The rear bumper is missing, the hood lip molding is missing and the hood hinges are also missing, no brake booster also. Has good back glass, windshield is broken obviously. Pass door glass is busted, drivers is in door and both rear sides are present, all 3 are also tinted. The metal a/c dash is in the car but has been sold and will be removed. The fenders are rust hole free, the drivers has a dent on the underside of the fender. The doors are rust hole free, the pass has a dent towards the front. The drivers qt is bad along the bottom body line both inner and outer drop downs. The passenger outer qt is intact but the inner drop down will need work. The trunk lid is useable with no visible holes, the tail light panel is also good. Rockers are good, floors are shot on all 4 pans. Cowl looks to be ok, but without removing fenders, hard to tell completely. Car had a disc brakes, rear drum......has 1970 Torino steel wheels with ok tires to be used as rollers...car rolls fine. 4 speed pedals still in car. The hood is straight and lays flat on the car. She's a good donor car for an expensive project car. Roof is also usable. I can take more pictures and answer any question's. If you do the math...$400 for a pr of doors, $300 for a hood, $400 for pr fenders, $500 for a quarter, the car is worth the asking price...4 speed hump, bucket seat bracket etc.....Keep in mind this is over 45 years old so it does have rust, rust scale on its parts. This car could be saved but at a cost that wouldn't make any sense in the end. I could help with delivery at an extra fee as long its within reasonable distance, so ask.On May-13-16 at 17:11:20 PDT, seller added the following information: Several guys have asked the reserve, due to its on my trailer and I want it sold...Its $1300.....fair price for the parts that are on the car.On May-16-16 at 15:50:19 PDT, seller added the following information: This car is for sale elsewhere and auction can end anytime.
