Up for sale is my show quality 1897 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe. This is 1 of 6050 ever produced in 1987 and 1988. It is 1 of 1750 that included t-tops. I bought this car from the original owner two years ago. Car was always garage kept its entire life , the owner only only put 103,000 original miles on it since 1987. While in possession of previous owner a old lady turned into him and bent frame at the lower control arm. I purchased this car with the existing damage only because of its original mint condition and garage kept history. I removed body from damaged frame and replaced with a good frame from a 1987 donor SS . Replaced all body bushings and bolts, completely refinished entire undercarriage with Por-15 paint. I have all original documents and service records since purchased, as you can see in the pictures. Original owner also had the transmission rebuilt with a mild shift kit at 102,000 miles. All new tires,full tune up and oil change just performed. This car is show quality and ready to enjoy. Runs and drives like new. I had full intentions of keeping this for a long time and invested a lot of time and $$$$ into this SS. I am only selling because I want to retire and need my garage space.
