Vehicle Detail
This is a 2006 Mercedes Benz E350 Grey in color, the roof has a darker colored vinyl wrap on it. Body is in great shape for its year and has a few minor imperfections. Some paint damage on the rear drivers side, and in the area of the lip of one wheel well (see photos) but nothing major at all. Limo tint all around Headlights are HID and the mercedes computer thinks the bulbs are out and will display a message. Trunk battery is brand new. Tires (19" are brand new and only a few hundred miles on them) Rims are shiny chrome but have been plasti dipped flat black. Could use a touch up (can of plastidip included with the car). No check engine light or any current issues mechanically with the car at all. No leaks at all. Rides smooth on the freeway and at high speeds. Gets lots of looks especially when parked on the ground. Among other things I have receipts for replacing some of the suspension components, secondary air pump, rethreading all 4 hubs for the wheel bolts, new wheel bolts, hydraulic motor mounts and trans mounts, etc. The eurocar place I took it to was basically told "fix whatever you can find wrong" , and they did. The painful bill afterwards was fun. Included with the car is well over 3 grand in recent repair work at my local euro shop. No surprises, its ready to be driven daily. Aftermarket air ride system (dont know the manufacturer of the bags). Air engine air manifold works great, I recently cleaned out the diaphragms. All new lines and fittings done by my guy a few months ago. Dual gauges installed in the center console. 2 Viar 444c Compressors and tank. Everything mounted in the trunk in the spare tire area which reminds me, spare tire cover not included. Air system has a very slow leak at the T fitting coming off the tank. Easy 20 minute fix I have not messed with it because it is a slow leak (leaks down to 75 psi overnight) Car drives great and does fine on the highway. Have driven it 70-80mph with no issues at all on the freeway. Not sure what has been done to the exhaust but its loud. I believe they removed a restrictor or something. Car does have a rebuilt title - due to flood damage from several years ago. Previous owner told me it did not get flooded at all, and the money received from insurance was used to put the air system on it, but I cannot confirm nor deny that. The car does not smell like mildew at all and I found no evidence of flood damage and neither has anyone who has worked on the car. Water did trickle into the trunk for a while due to a failing tail light seal (common issue). I replaced both tail lights and the third brake light with LED lights an no more leaks. The front ash tray is not currently installed, but is included. Wiring for the switch box will need to be tucked in before the ashtray will go back in. Switch box is an AVS 7 switch (all up/down, front up/down, rear up/down, and 4 corners independently). The all up function is broken, but all down and everything else works. You can lift the front and back independently or each corner independently. The all down function still works great. I was advised by AVS that it will probably be covered under warranty, but I never sent it in because I drive the car daily and dont really need the all up feature. I believe the diode simply came off the circuit board for the all up feature, you can hear it rattling around the switchbox. If you know how to solder it would be an easy fix, or simply send back to AVS for replacement. All in all its a great car, only reason for selling is I just got a new truck. I do not want this car to become something that just sits in my garage. Up until now I drove it to work every day. Thanks for reading!
