Up for grabs is this rare 1939 chevy pickup. Super cool original ! We found this tucked away in a garage where it has been sitting for many years. We purchased this truck with the intent of restoring it but have too many irons in the fire so have decided to sell it. Truck is in great condition and would make an easy restoration project. Has very little rust compared to most of the Pre war chevies that you see. everything on this truck appears to be original except a few of the tires. When we purchased the truck it was partially taken apart in preperation for a restoration so most of the sheet metal, cab , bed , ect only have a few bolts in them holding them on so the truck can be transported. Will come apart easily for restoration when you get it home. The engine is a 216 but is needing to be replaced with a running or rebuilt engine. Steering column needs a new mounting U bolt and a small crack welded on the mounting holes on the dash ( reason for steering column hanging down ) . Bed has a piece of sheet steel in it but the original wood planks and metal strips are underneath to use as a template. The back of the cab has a few bullet holes but should be an easy repair. When we got the truck the rear fenders has a few splits on the back of them so we had a friend tack weld them in place so they would not tear any further. The truck is missing the hood nose support bar , and the cross support on top of the grille. Those should be an easy find once you get started on it. Great old 39 pre war pickup to restore ! Would also accept a bank to bank wire transfer. We are allowing 10 days for payment so that you have plenty of time to get the check in the mail or make payment. pymnt must clear our bank before we will release possession of the truck to a transporter. If you need time to find a great shipping deal we can store this truck on our place for a few months so you can find a shipper.
