Vehicle Detail
2005 F250 XL SuperCabPower windows, Power Locks, Cruise Control, A/C, etc...Had over $10k of work done in the past year, with paperwork to prove it. Bought this to tow my boat and planned on getting a 5th wheel camper, but never did. Boat is gone and we've got too many vehicles, so this one can go.- New Motor installed by Ford Dealership (3yr, Unlimited Mileage warranty through Autozone)- New Brakes, Pads and Rotors- Recent Tires (Lifetime Road Hazard Warranty through Discount Tire)- New Ball Joints (Lifetime Warranty through Brakes Plus)- New Tie Rods (Lifetime Warranty through Brakes Plus)- New Shocks- New B&W Turnover Gooseneck Hitch Installed (Never Used)- New Electronic Trailer Brake- New Fuel Pump (Lifetime Warranty through Autozone)This truck only has about 25k miles on the new motor, and even less since the suspension, tires, and brake work. Truck has total of about 240k miles on the odometer, but runs and drives like new. Body is in great shape, no rust and the paint looks good. Few dings on the top of the tailgate, but otherwise no major issues. Bed is Rhino Lined, and the interior has rubber floor mats instead of carpet so it's super easy to clean. Seats are about average for the age, could use a good cleaning but they're not terrible. Driver's side has a split seam from climbing in and out, but the rest are in good shape. I have a set of seat covers for it, so not a huge issue. This has the 5.4L Gas V8, which does not have all of the mechanical issues of the V10 or Diesel. It gets me 16 to 18MPG on the highway if you drive reasonably, and you can use the cheap low-octane gas. Still had plenty of power to pull my 10,000lb boat through the mountains, you just won't win any uphill drag races. For me, it was worth having a reliable motor that's good on gas since 90% of my driving was done without a pulling trailer.Zero issues. Literally every problem I've found in the past year has been fixed. You will have to contact Autozone, Brakes Plus, and Discount Tire each to find out whether or not the warranties are transferable. If you're looking for a solid, reliable, decent-looking rig to haul your camper or put to work for the next 10 years, this is the truck for you. It's basically a new truck and should easily last another 150k-200k miles.KBB Private Party value is $8500, and that's for a truck with 150k miles. KBB puts the value with 20k miles at over $12,000. If you have any questions, feel free to call or text anytime. Thanks.-Timcell: 719-357-7045
