It was manufactured at the Ford factory with a courier rear door. According to the previous owner, a cab company from Richmond, Virginia special ordered a fleet of 30 wagons directly from Ford with the specification that a courier door be installed to make loading and unloading easier. It is not clear how many of these 30 courier wagons survived, but this is one of them. This car had an engine swap in the ‘70s. It now has a 460 CID V8 with a Ford C6 automatic transmission. The transplant was very tastefully done and nothing was butchered. The paint looks presentable but it is not show quality. There is some bubbling in the paint in several areas: around both rear fenders, driver side rocker panel, lower edge of passenger door, and the bottom of the rear door. Also the paint has been touched up in several small areas. There are screw holes left where a visor and side mirrors were attached. The windows are intact. The windshield has some chips, and the passenger side window has whitening on the lower edge. The chrome and stainless are in nice shape, except there is some peeling on the rear bumper. The side trim pieces are from a ‘56 Ford, and the rear tail lights are Dodge. The floor pans are really nice and solid and so is the frame. Please see pictures. The interior is very presentable and clean with no rips or tears in the upholstery. A cassette AM/FM stereo is in the glove box. Please see below for more detailed pictures.   Clean title.
