Hello Fellow Ebayers, up for sale is a great sport version of the BMW 740 I, like the one Jason Stratham drives in the movie transporter. I acquired this vehicle over a year ago, and I was engaged in restoring it to original full glory, but I have too many projects on it and a lack of storage, garage space so it will be sold here on ebay for a NO Reserve Price and it will go to the highest bidder. I will list all known defects to the best of my ability and this narrative will be as specific as possible,. The engine runs great, and has tremendous acceleration, andno engine leaks of any fluids at this time. When I got the car, it was leaking anti freeze and we had to replace essentially the whole cooling system, including the water pump, all cooling lines and the thermostat and all cooling hoses. The Transmission at times runs with no issues for hundreds of miles, but without notice sometimes slips from first to second gear and then goes back to normal several miles later. Upon information from my mechanic, he stated that the abs brake sensor module is communicating with the ECM incorrectly and that a complete service of the abs sensor and resetting of the computer will correct this problem. Like I said, I have many projects currently and after the new battery change, and the cooling system repairs I was essentially done with the vehicle. The Navigation, the radio and all the climate controls work as they should and the interior is in impeccable shape for a car of this age, with no visible tears or cuts in any of the leather. It even smells new over 15 years later! The Suspension and regular braking and handling of the car are all excellent and the car hold the road magnificently, and it has tremendous acceleration at all speeds and commands the road confidently and without any issue. The exterior of the car is fairly good with no rust, but has a few small cracks in the front and rear bumper and one or two small dents in the front fender and some dings and dongs that you would expect from a car this age. Overall though the body is in excellent condition and with a great detail will shine up beautifully. The moon roof works perfectly, but the headliner is coming down slightly in a few places as is the case with many BMW's of this age. The wheels and tires on this car are exceptional 19" Enhanced BMW rims and the tires have 90% tread life left and alone are worth way over $1500.00. This car moves, and moves well and with a little work can be brought back to itrs pristine condition and travel for many years to come and give its new owner great service. .
