This auction is for an incomplete project bike and large collection of parts. This bike was given to me by a friend some years ago. I never liked the style of it, but I didn't want to hurt his feelings, so I decided to update the looks of it. I have built a custom rear subframe for it to allow for a more modern appearance. This was a running bike with low miles when I started this project. It has since been updated with GSXR 1000 rear plastics and saddle from a 2007. Front wheel, front forks, front brakes, and triple trees are from a 2007 GSXR 750. Headlight, front fairing, rear shock, and instrument cluster is from a 2002 GSXR 750. Original front and wheels are finished in super slick black powder coat with new Dunlop Sportmax Qualifier tires sizes 180/55/17 and 120/70/17 with no miles on them. The front wheel that is currently on the bike has a very low mile Bridgestone Battlax Hyper Sport tire 120/70/17 . Bike has brand new chain ,front and rear sprocket with no miles. Header is a Yoshimura with an aftermarket carbon can, and I have included original stainless can as well. I have some carbon fiber parts for it as well as a pair of different fairings. There are probably enough parts here to mostly finish it for someone who has a talent with motorcycles, or would otherwise be well worth the starting bid in salvage parts. I still have many of the original parts as well if you'd like to return it to stock, or use it as parts for an existing bike. This bike is being sold as is, and for local pickup only.
