Up for sale is my neighbor;s 2002 Cadillac SLS, with famed Northstar V8 with Chrome Factory Cadilac rims, who asked me to list this vehicle for him as he is not computer savvy. I have driven this car on occasion and will describe the drive ability and the cosmetics in the best detail I can. To begin with the vehicle runs and rives very well, and the power train is excellent and accelerates and shifts effortlessly and with Cadillac Power and confidence. The recently serviced suspension, with new struts installed, handles extremely well, and this car summarily is ready to take on the road, as the only reason my friend is selling this car, is that his company recently gave him a 2016 truck for his merchandising business which sends him out of state often. Specifically, the climate controls all work as they should, the heat and ac blow out hot and cold and the car maintains its temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and all its gauges work on the bright and clean cluster. There are no leaks, and check engine lights on this car, and the Northstar V8 has been maintained by my friend as the whole car has. All electronics, and seat controls, moon roof, and all driver accessories work and function 100% including the factory installed Bose Stereo CD player which works and sound amazing. My friend originally bought this car in 2005 for $29,500, and has maintained it very well, as it was his main driver. Most recently he has done a major tuneup including plugs, coil packs, all fluid changes, and a water pump and alternator and drive belt, within the last 8,000 miles. The struts were all replaced less then 12,000 miles ago and the suspension rides great when this car is in the open road, and when its on bumpy roads in the city, it handles and negotiates the change of terrain very well and keeps the car stable and cushioned. The car will need brakes immediately. The pads, rotors, and calipers will all have to be overhauled, as they are beyond serviceability. You may be able to get away with pads and rotors but that will be your decision based on you replacing and driving after those parts are installed. The tires are ok, with about 35% tread-life left. Many of the receipts for all the work done including the original bill of sale and all other invoices regarding work on the car will be included with the sale in a file that will go with the car. The interior of the car is free from any tears and the front of the interior is in need of a good shampoo and detail. The rear interior is very clean but would also benefit from a treatment and detail. The exterior of the car has some dings and dongs as the pictures detail, but overall, has no real dents and NO RUST and with a good detail will come up like factory original with its beautiful Multi Staged Factory Cadillac Paint Job in Cimirron Red! There are no leaks of any fluids of any kind, and this car is an excellent driving and running vehicle and with a little detailing and brake service it will be road worthy for its next owner and can be driven anywhere in the USA.
