Vehicle Detail
Purchased this from owner in Tennessee about 3yrs ago. It runs and drives, hasn't seen much action. I believe I am the 4th owner of vehicle. Vehicle has been garage kept since owned, never seen snow or rain. Chassis is solid, no rot, no rust. Underneath, bed and inside Rhino lined by previous owner. Paint is decent, was resprayed a couple owners ago, has some chips, blistering, discoloration. I had some things in store, purchased kit from Vintage Warehouse that included: Reman Rancho Trans(5yr unlimited warranty)for straight axle conversion, new clutch kit, straight axle conversion, drop spindles, all new rear drum brakes with drums, brakes, plates and all. New tie-rods, new wheel bearings, nuts bolts etc.I also have new door and window seals as well as new vent Windows. Those parts are not installed I removed window frames, stripped and powder coated them. I have new headlight rings, buckets, seals, hardware, turn signals, etc.Front and rear bumpers, VW emblem, hub caps, handles, etc coated black. Interior clean, missing headliner, and a few other pieces. Split bench seat fairly new and in great condition.Engine runs good, was apparently rebuilt a couple years before I bought, standard single port 1600cc.I planned on taking out and refreshing myself at some point, but runs good, no obvious issues. Things wrong- Wipers don't work, I have a new switch. But wipers also move freely, haven't seen what issue is. Drivers seat bracket missing and previous owner bolted in. I was not aware of this till after I purchased. Will need to be repaired, not from rot of any kind. Paint has its obvious flaws, small dings, chips, flaws. I didn't buy for perfection. But zero rot found anywhere, I believe it was originally AZ owned. It's dusty and dirty from just sitting in garage and deserves to be cleaned up and put on the road. I am the owner/operator of a custom powder coating business and I've been extremes busy for a few years now, I also have children which eat up quite a bit of my time as well, which to sum it up leaves zero time to mess with the truck. Please feel free to ask any questions, please no trades or low ball offers.
