Hello, here we have a beautifully restored 1964 Honda CL250. It has been restored throughout and is a beautiful bike of show quality. Many new old stock parts were used in the restoration by the former owner. Below are some comments from the previous owner when I purchased it: Frame-up meticulous 1964 Honda CL72 restoration. Frame number CL72 - 1104932Engine number CL72E 1105011 The engine has been restored and refurbished by a well known vintage Honda mechanic and runs well. The transmission shifts well. The bike was started and tested on the center stand and has never been street ridden post restoration. NOS brake pads, spokes, Cheng Shin tires, cables, air filters, hand levers,stop light switch, and headlamp ensure excellent overall mechanical condition. There are numerous nos parts including the speedometer, tank pads, tail light lamp, muffler guards and alternator cover in addition to those mentioned above. All the chrome parts have been professionally resurfaced and look excellent. The front (reversed) and rear fenders are nos and powder costed as are the tank and side covers. The fuel tank has 2-3 small dents not detected at the time of resurfacing, The seat has been professionally recovered. The frame and black parts are powder coated. This is an exceptionally clean and mechanically sound example of the renowned Honda CL72 classic. Everything works on the bike except that the fuse is blown when the headlight switch is turned on with bike running...must be a short. The motor runs excellent and has crisp response and sound! It has a clean California Certificate of Title in my name and is currently registered. It indicates it is a 1965 model, even though the frame no. indicates it is a 64 model.
