Vehicle Detail

Please do not bid if your a cat, or have to check with the wife, or dont know what shipping costs or you dont have funds or checking on parts etc..man up NO RESERVE, $1000 deposit due in 24hrs and full balance in 3 days from end of auction. Has clean title. Prices to sell with huge upside for new owner. Crazy Cool Custom 1964 Ford E100 Truck known as Spectrta-1 back in the day. Tons of custom mods, Has won many shows and been in a couple magazines is what i've heard from a few guys. Ford 289 V8 engine, fires up, runs good but doesn't idle, needs tune up. Still has old plugs, wires, points etc from over 10 years ago, so i believe after that it should run fine. Amazing original condition but does need some work, just had carb professionally rebuilt, cleaned out fuel tank, C4 Auto trans was rebuilt and painted a few years ago, Torino Ford rear end, custom interior in great shape for the age. It's all there just needs some love. I was able to track down the original builder, he lives in L.A. Really cool guy, he told me about the build etc.The truck has a custom shell that makes it look like a van. It has Hydraulic rams that lift the entire shell about 12" in the air, so when you hanging out, its like a canopy in the up position. It also makes it easy to remove the shell. The top does come off and the interior can be removed so you can use it as a truck if you want. It has an old school TV and a custom velvet red sofa with cup holders, red deep shag carpet etc, custom split Gull Wing style door, top half goes up, Lower one folds down and acts as a step with custom lighting in the foot steps.Really too much to list, Tons of custom body work. Custom front end with tube Grill and headlight covers, custom visor (fiberglass has crack that needs to be repaired), custom molded Flares and side rockers, custom door handles, custom tail lights, etcAll glass is in excellent shape. Paint is in really good shape, could use a good detail. It was always stored in garage.Interior cab window section behind driver lifts up into rear area, two sunroofs, one in cab and one in rear area (both need some restoration, cables etc). This thing was ahead of its time, originally built in the 70's. It has a light bar under the dash that would change color as the music played. Beautiful custom metal console that has cupholders that fold down, it also houses the switches for interior lights etc and features a photo of the van etched in the center. Orig gauges plus some aftermarket gauges, chrome trim parts, custom door pulls, orig custom steering wheel. Its all there! Killer project to finish. I would really like to see someone bring it back, its a piece of Vanning history. There is a crack on the uni body underneath from the original owner doing wheelies(lol). He said he drove it for 15 years the way it is. I had a couple good metal guys look at it and both quoted me $350 to build a custom u shaped brace and to make it perfect. Crager SS's in rear and orig Rockets in front, tires in good shape.Hate to sell but I've started construction on my house and have no room. Let me know if you have any questions. On Apr-22-16 at 07:34:29 PDT, seller added the following information: This will need to be towed. It does not drive, I think all it needs is a little attention, basically plugs, wires, points etc. I do think after that it will run and drive fine. When I first got it, it did run but only for a little while there was water in the fuel. Since then I had gas tank cleaned out, installed new Rubber fuel line, Had carb professionally rebuilt. After that it still wouldn't start unless I poured fuel into the carb. It ran fine and sounded healthy but would just die after the fuel was used. After that I literally ran out of time to work on it. I paid $10k all in, so its a big loss for me, but it leaves a lot upside for next buyer with basic mechanical skills. As far as the top goes, It should only need two front hydraulic rams and a pump, the rear ones work now.
