Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1980 Honda c70 passport that is in amazing original condition. This bike has been stored in a heated shed since 1986 and has around 155 miles on it! This bike would be great to add to a collection. everything is in working order except the headlight is burnt out. I am 100% confident that it will work with a new bulb because the taillight was burnt out as well and when the bulb was replaced it worked perfectly. (I heard that the headlight and taillight blow if you try to start it when the battery is dead). All other lights, blinkers, horn, speedometer, electric start, etc are in perfect working order. The chrome all shines nicely with no rust and minimal scratches that can be seen in the pictures. This bike has to be seen in person to truly be appreciated. the only other thing I did other than replacing the taillight bulb was buy new bolts for the bottom of the white fairing because they were missing. All the paint shines like new with only a few tiny chips as seen in the pictures. all the plastic is in great condition as well with two very small and hard to notice cracks shown in pictures. some of the parts still have plastic wrap and even the original tires have nipples and chalk lines on them still! The bike starts up easily with the electric and kick starts. The throttle tends to stick and rev a little after the throttle is released but this could easily be fixed by rebuilding the carb or something simple. It has been sitting for nearly 30 years after all. The bike still runs and rides through all the gears. The original owner bought it for his wife but she was too scared to ride it so he put it in long term storage after registering for several years with very little use. I have the original title along with the original tool kit and owners manual. These bikes are bulletproof and build to last so if you were looking to buy it to ride, it should be very dependable after minimal work. This bike would be a great collector or show piece as well because there probably are very few with this low of miles and in this type of condition. I can picture this bike being in a museum somewhere. I would be happy to send additional pictures or videos of it running. I am also pleased to answer any questions anyone has. This bike is sold "as is" and I would encourage people to check this beauty out if possible. The buyer is responsible for picking it up or having it shipped out within 2 weeks after the auction ends. There is NO RESERVE! So happy bidding and good luck! let me know if I can help in any way!
