This is a 1998 Dodge Ram 3500 with a very reliable 5.9 Cummins Diesel engine. The truck has a little over 317000 miles as of this posting, but it is still being used so the mileage is changing daily. The manual 5speed transmission is shifting smoothly and is a perfect choice for pulling heavy loads. The 8' bed is covered with a tall fiberglass cover and has a rubber liner. Inside the bed is a gooseneck ball which is collapsable and the whole bed can be used when not hooked up with a gooseneck trailer. The power for the trailers is also inside the bed and the control for the trailer brakes also works. The truck also comes with an aluminum toolbox, a standard hitch and the original rear bumper. The bumpers on the vehicle in front and rear are solid steel bumpers. I recently changed the front brake pads, rotors, front brake lines and shocks. In the past I upgraded the fuel pump with a stronger version of the original which also has a pressure gauge inside the cab. I installed a chip to improve fuel consumption and now getting with my driving style 23mpg on the highway. I have done a lot of highway driving and it saved me a lot of money. The tires will need to be changed soon. Overall it is a reliable truck and I would be comfortable driving across the country as it is. I have traveled half the country with this truck and it has never let me sitting on the side of the street. It is a 1998 and it has dings and scratches, so it does not have that showroom finish. It is worth mentioning that this truck was in the south until last year and it has probably never seen any snow and salt like in Chicago winters. The interior is tan in color and with cloth seats. The truck comes without any warranty and I suggest to inspect the vehicle before bidding to have all the questions answered. I will not accept any returns of this item.
