This Apache is not destined for the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. This is a Rat Rod project. It is a 6 cylinder, 3 on the tree with overdrive - not to mention dual ashtrays. Somebody started this project, but didn't get very far. Sure there is some rust, but, what you are buying is the patina, and the decals on the door. The paint is an incredible mix of faded red. white and blue and the decals are totally unique, Department of Justice - Bureau of Prisons! Does it get any cooler than that??? Unless it is the Property of the US Government decal that is above the DOJ. The frame looks to have only some surface rust. Knock a little of the mold off and do a matt clear coat and you will have a one of a kind - in the Rat Rod world of one of a kinds.Bill of Sale - No Title On Apr-06-16 at 10:19:43 PDT, seller added the following information: It is not a 1958. The Bill of Sale I got said it was 1957. I found registration paper work from 1967 that says it is a 1955. I had a guy with a 1957 who stopped and looked at it and he said it was a 1956.
