You are looking at my 1999 Lexus ES300. It runs smooth and shifts smooth as a Lexus should. The paint shows good for it's age with a few dings and scratches (the most noticeable being in the tail gate pictured in this add. The interior is good for its age but will need a good cleaning/detail. The check engine light is on with a knock sensor code. This will need to be fixed before it can be smogged so the new owner will be responsible for the smog. The transmission will sometimes "neutralize" (feels like it is in neutral when it is drive). If the ignition is shut off and then turned back on it will start working again. I suspect an electrical issue. Transmission was rebuilt at 178k in 2012. I wouldn't hesitate to drive SUV anywhere once the transmission is sorted out. I recommend an inspection prior to bidding/buying. This is a NO RESERVE auction so high bidder wins it!
