Vehicle Detail
This is my 1973 CB750 that has been converted with the AMEN frame kit. This beautiful piece of art was built in the early 70's and has not been touched other than keeping it operational. The original owner put time period cartoons and drawings all over virtually every inch of the frame. There is also original comic book pages grafted ans sealed into the paint. I insisted on keep it all original and not painting it because the patina and originality of it really makes it unique. People crawl all over this bike looking at the graphics. I have a solo seat set up for it and forward foot controls/ highway pegs. I have them on there now and use them, but you don't have to keep them one once its yours. I also have going with it a bunch of spare parts. a whole nother 750cc engine and rims and tires, a few boxes of parts that would fit that I kept as spares. I drove it a couple hundred miles last year but have not started it this year. The Chromed parts are mostly pitted with rust to be honest. This bike has not been rebuilt or anything since 1973ish. I have maintained and road it since around 2007? Runs and drives great. The old lady loves riding on the back. I have had back surgery and don't think I can ride anymore. I want someone else to enjoy it. Definitely one of a kind. On Mar-26-16 at 13:08:25 PDT, seller added the following information: I am going to try to add more pics of it since last summer. I will show the forward controls. I just tried to move it and the front brakes are locked up and the battery needs to be changed. I want it to be know that all chrome parts are rusty. I don't want any surprises to any one. I won't have the time to fix the front brakes. That is why I am selling it. Or not... On Mar-27-16 at 10:45:56 PDT, seller added the following information: There is currently 120 watchers and thousands of views for this bike.. It is certainly one of a kind. I am being bombarted with emails. sorry if I haven't answered them all, keep asking. I want to be clear that this bike needs to be washed, detailed and I would use the green side of a sink sponge to rub the surface rust, then clear coating the chrome would not be a bad idea. but I simply do not have the time to clean it up. I will try to get it started, the battery may need to be replaced. I can assure you the engine runs and shifts absolutely fine. like all of them you have to lever the choke until it warms up. All fluids have been well maintained and right now the front brake shoes are still stuck. Not sure if I will have time to nonstick them. I will try. I have been asked to inventory all the spare parts with picks, prices etc... The stuff I am throughing in for free is just that, it doesn't count as part of the auction and there for base your purchase as for just the bike. I will give you the extra parts and stuff I have but I am not going to spend the time to inventory everything. I you don't want it, that's fine too. I don't know the running condition of the extra motor, The bike that I got it from was not running and I just stripped it before putting the time into getting it running but it should be great for a rebuild or spare parts. it is a 750 4 cylinder as well. no carbs. I cant find the vin on the amen frame. it doesn't mean it inst there, I just don't see it on the tree. When I titled it in North Carolina, it passed state police inspection for all classic vehicles brought into the state. Tags title and insurance are all current. Tag is off for photos. Bike has electric or kick start. Nothing wrong with it and nothing doesn't work except the front brakes stuck and the dead battery. This bike is sold as is where is. If you are too picky please save me the aggravation and keep looking for another bike. I started this at $1000, if it goes higher it is not my fault. If you don't like it, I will offer it to the second highest bidder and so on, so if you miss out on this don't give up until I know the first buyer goes through with it. I have been screwed by ebayers before. look at my history, I am a good ebay seller and if you are not happy, I will not hold you to keeping it. People keep asking about the title, it is a standard title issued by NC just like any other car or bike. no special or limited title. It matches the engine. Just like you would expect when you buy a kit frame from AMEN back in the day. If I do not get the brakes unstuck and you want to , then drive it home, you are welcome to do that after full payment is made. I will try to answer all questions and be as helpful as possible. I will post questions and answers for all to see. On Mar-27-16 at 10:49:46 PDT, seller added the following information: Also , I have the previous owners contact if it is still good, if you have any questions once you own it. I do not believe he is the one that built it though. I think it was from Maryland or VA. somewhere on the east coast I think.
