One owner '68 Toyota Corona coupe (titled as a '69), sold new here in the Portland area, 55K miles believed to be original. I bought this car as part of a package deal from an estate and have decided to sell it. With the exception of one repaint, the car is very original. I have over 30 pictures to view below, look for my comments written in between, I'll describe the good and the bad. Originally Solar Red, the car was repainted some years back in more of an orange color. The door jambs, trunk and engine bay still show original paint. The repaint was to driver quality standards, up close you'll see some minor overspray, as well as some checking, dings and scrapes here and there. The license plates are the originals issued to the car when new, they're included with the sale. Both bumpers are in very nice shape, still with good chrome. All of the car's trim is original and still looking good. The glass is all good, they are the distinctive blue tinted originals. Most all of the weatherstripping is still good, except for the vertical seals between the door windows and quarter windows. I've found a source for replacements, they're about $40 for the pair. The trunk has its original liner, spare and jacking equipment. Also included are some service manuals, owners manual, extra seatbelts, radio blanking plate and a 2nd set of original keys. The interior is entirely original. Its only flaws are some faded carpet and a crack in the dash. The seats and door panels are all like new. Fold-down back seat, parcel shelf and headliner are all in great shape. All of the gauges work, wipers, signals and horn works, radio, heater and fan all work the way they should. Ashtrays and lighter are unused, the car has not been smoked in. Pretty nice running little car, goes down the road smoothly with no smoke. Handles well and brakes well, shifts good with the exception of the 2nd gear synchro, which will grind if you shift too quickly. These next 2 photos show the only rust issues I've found on the car, both in identical places on each rocker. The rest of the undercarriage looks good.
