2004 Subaru Forester XT in all around excellent condition. Car drives perfectly and has many desirable options and features. Everything works. The car is 12 years old though so it is not perfect but it has been a fantastic daily driver. Here's the good and not so good list...see my feedback...I do not like surprises so I assume you don't either! Good; Excellent Paintwork...only a few blemishes...see pic of 2 dings on rear door and rear bumper has a few light scratches and a little delamination of the clearcoat on the hood scoop. Overall paint is a firm 8/10. Body is rust free and way above average for a 12 year old Subaru.Beautiful Interior with excellent and regularly (Griots) treated Leather Seating. Even Drivers seat is excellent. Spare Wheel has never been mounted. Interior gets a 9/10 it's that good and it's dry as a bone, no leaks!Carbon Fiber Trim/Premium Stereo with Ipod Cassette adapter which works great/heated seats/huge moonroof that does not leak/powerful AC/front hood wind deflector and rear tailgate bar.Almost brand new Subaru 17" BRZ Rims with almost brand new Yokohama Tires.....(4000 miles). Car will also come with it's original XT 16" Rims/perfect for winter tires but honestly it's awesome in snow even on the 17s"Stainless Catback plus stainless open Up-pipe, (no pre-cat and a 'must fit' for this model to spare turbocharger from future damage). Recent Repairs in last year; Brand New Turbocharger/Oil Supply Pipe filters deleted, (another must do)/New Timing Belt idlers water pump/Both Head Gaskets replaced/auto transmission oil and filter changed....all done within last 10000 miles. Not so good; There is a tap in the engine...there always has been in the 2 years I've owned this car....you can only hear it cold and you cannot hear it driving. Tech has said 'piston slap and it's not uncommon with this engine'. I just want to mention it because I don't like surprises.Minor oil leaks from one cam cover. Oil use has been nil between 3000 mile changes. No drips on driveway but oil does hit exhaust and you do get the occasional smell.Above mentioned door dings...see pics.
