For sale is a British made 1976 Triumph TR7 Two-Door Coupe Hardtop which has been in storage for 32 years and has not been driven or started since 1983. The original and sole owner was our close friend who is deceased and the car is now in our possession here in Ohio. It has a clear Ohio title. It is the classic Brooklands Green with a louvered hood and hide-away headlights. It has a luggage rack on the back in very good condition. The tan leather interior is classic 1970’s with tan corded material seats and leather trim in very good condition; they only need cleaned. All parts are original with working radio and no A.C. There are 30,952 actual miles on the odometer. Condition: The driver side headlight lights up, but does not pop up or down but will function with manual operation gear; thus it is not frozen. The other works perfectly. All other lights work. All tires are in fair condition and will probably need replaced. The trunk has the original jack kit and spare tire. There are surface rust spots on the body including the bottom of driver's side door; very little on passenger side door bottom. The right fender wheel well is rusted but could be repaired and does not affect the wheel well which is solid. Both the floor and trunk pans are solid. There is a small dent on the back fender which can be easily pounded out and the windshield has a horizontal crack. All four cylinders are reading compression, and I have started it with a separate gas supply. However, it currently does not run. It has the original carburetors. I installed a new battery, changed oil and filter, and cleaned the carbs freeing external parts; floating cylinders within carbs are clean and moving. It has a manual choke. The drive is not frozen since it moves freely. Clutch engages well; car cannot be pushed in first gear; when pushed in fourth gear, the cooling fan turns. It will need a paint job, interior cleaning, new carpeting and tires. A great project for those who like to restore classic vehicles.
