Looking to receive a 300. paypal deposit immediately following auction end. Please be sure this works for you before bidding. thanksThis is a beautiful 1963 Chevy Impala two-door sport Coupe that has to be the most solid survivor cars I've seen in 50 years This isn't a car the kids all Hot rodded around town with. It's a nice old car thats had some care over the years. I bought the car last year from a gentlemen i would guess was in his 60's who kept it garaged and had the car for a number of years. I looked far and wide to find a 63 as solid as this one is and I now need to put some money in other places so the car is going to regretfully find a new home. It has a beautiful running V8 which I believe to be a 350 along with a four-speed transmission that shifts very nicely. The clutch also operates nice. Some of the numbers I found on the engine block are 3970010 which is the casting number and the prefix code I found on the front of the passenger head is V 1113 TYU The engine runs absolutely beautiful. It idles nicely, no ticking or skipping or smoking. it's just a sweet running old chevy.. It does have a new 4 barrell carburetor, aluminum intake, brand-new dual exhaust front to back, new coil springs, new shocks, it also is a nice clean interior with a new carpet and a new headliner along with new door panels. The paint on the car I had done last year and it is a "Honduras maroon" that's original for that era and it is a urethane basecoat clearcoat which was sanded and buffed to a beautiful deep shine. The sides are quite straight. The chrome on the car shows nice. Some of it is new and most of it is original. The bumpers are original 1963 and still have a nice deep shine on them The horn is inop. The gas gauge floats around. The wheels and tires on the car are very nice and have very few miles. A few things that I can see that it could use addressing depending on the level car you're looking for is the heater is inop and the emergency brake seems to work but could use adjusting and the a.m. radio doesn't play otherwise this is just a real nice pretty example of a very solid 1963 impala. I get compliments wherever I go I would suggest cleaning up some light surface rust underneath and putting on some black paint under there for a real clean look. VERY SOLID 1963 STILL SHOWING THE ORIGINAL SPOT WELDS UNDER THE LOWER REAR QUARTERS AS SHOWN IN THE LAST PICTURE !!!!!!! Connecticut uses the registration and the title as one. I drove the car on a transporter plate so I never registered it but I do have the title/registration and bill of sale from when i bought the car that was just signed and handed to me. That can be used to get plates. Many of the upper states use this system and is accepted thru out the 48 states. Check with your local dmv. This is not a show car. It has some minor chips or touch up's from use but nothing horrible,,, I'm just a realist. Just a fun car that drives very decent. It starts great hot or cold and sounds great. There are no knocks and runs very smooth. It feels good when you drive the car. The miles show 12,242 and isn't turning and can only assume has been over with the age of the car. As usual selling as is . This description is mearly my opinion.I would encourage anyone come inspect the vehicle before bidding or I believe ebay offers an affordable inspection service for piece of mind. Looking for a 300. paypal deposit immediately following auction end non refundable. balance of payment to be made in either a check, bank to bank transfer or cash if picking up in person. My bank tells me any check regardless of what it is needs 10 business days to fully clear the financial system. thanks On Mar-21-16 at 16:10:05 PDT, seller added the following information: Thanks for all the compliments and questions. Any others let me know. ThanksOn Mar-22-16 at 16:29:27 PDT, seller added the following information: Thanks again for other questions and compliments. The biggest question is how did the underside stay as solid as it is ? Well, the solid underside is just short of amazing for a 53 year old car. And although it's not a museum piece it is a Very pretty 63. Thanks
