Just in time for summer up for bid is this beautiful 1990 Mustang LX 5.0 Convertible. I purchased this car about three and half years ago in July of 2012. Since then I have put about 2000 miles on it. The car has 131,154, although it doesn’t look like it does. The Mustang is very original, unmolested and well cared for. Body: This car is completely rust free. I believe that it still wears its original paint, although not perfect by any means (several imperfections) it is very presentable. One of the previous owners had repainted the black molding and didn’t do a great job; the molding could really use a repaint (see pictures). There is a small dent on the lower front fender, not very noticeable. I actually owned the car for several months before noticing. The previous owner added the five spoke. He painted them white and did a very poor job, they could use a repaint. The top and rear window were replaced three years ago and are in great condition. Interior: The interior is very nice, not perfect but very nice. The vinyl on the driver’s seat is tearing (see pictures) and there is a tear on the driver’s door panel (see pictures), it is not noticeable when the door is closed. Air conditioning, power windows, power locks, power top, original AM/FM Cassette stereo, both front seats have the lumbar support and the thigh extender. It also has a viper keyless entry. Drive train:The Mustang has its original 5.0 302 V8 with an automatic Transmission, power steering, and power disks brakes. The car runs and drives as it should. Engine starts every time, doesn’t smoke at all, no oil leaks. The transmission shifts well, no leaks and no issues. Brakes work well, the suspension is also in good shape. Terms of the sale: The reserve price is a very reasonable. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction close, and the remainder is due with in 5 business days of the auctions close. Cash, cashiers check, or PayPal are acceptable forms of payment. The buyer is responsible for shipment or pick of this vehicle. The car needs to be picked up within 30 days of the auction end. Storage charges will be accumulated thereafter. Please ask questions before biding, and bid to buy, not to come and see if you want the car.
