Vehicle Detail

1972 HONDA CT70, 4 SPEED WITH CLUTCH TRAIL 70, READY TO GO! This little guy is in fantastic shape, runs, stops, shifts and goes down the road (or up a trail) as she should! Dependable and good looking all in one package.... yep, a looker AND a rider!!! NO smoke, NO oil consumption, and NO oil leaks... Runs smooth and quiet, what the heck, it's a HONDA!Below are just a few of the high and low points: Body/Frame- NO RUST OUT! (doesn't happen here in our sunny, drought ridden, South Western States)- Very little "rust" spotting on the chrome areas (rear fender, tail light bracket and so on, ya can see it in the pictures) and some painted areas... see pictures- The Exhaust is tight, solid with NO rust out, and NO welding that I can find. The original Baffle is still in place. - Hasn't been all cleaned up, this is just the way I keep it.- The seat is NEW, Excellent condition on top AND underneath.- The Frame is solid although there are some areas of light surface rust... NO rust rot, NONE. (see pictures)- The Seat is raised in several of the pictures so ya can see just how nice it is under the seat area.- Comes with Owners Manual.- Comes with two (2) keys- No tools or pouch (although the "tool pouch retention clip" is in place).- Lights and horn are not working.- V.I.N. tag has date of manufacture as 6/72.- NO title, sold with bill of sale. (listed as has title because e-bay only gives 4 other choices and none of those fit either) Replaced, Painted, or Buffed Parts (within the past couple years)- New Seat- Wheels blasted and painted Cloud Silver- Blasted and painted case covers- New front fender- New carburetor- New K&N air filter, those old style "oiled foam" ones always bugged me. (no, I don't still have the old original one, or at least I haven't found it yet. If ya buy this little guy, and I find the original filter, I WILL mail it to ya.)- Several new cables- New dip stick and gas cap- New plug guard- Fresh engine oil, spark plug and fresh chain lube (ready ta ride)- I'm sure I have forgotten something, but check the pictures as they are the best at describing this little guy... and please ask questions. PLEASE look at the pictures closely, I have taken the time to take pictures of the "bad stuff" so ya know exactly what you are buying. What ya see, is what ya get.ANY questions, PLEASE ASK. Please Read:I have recently been told that this is NOT an original CT70-H (the "H" is Honda's designation for the 4-speed with clutch), but is a CT70 3-speed frame with the 4-speed engine in it.... heck, I don't know, I purchased this little guy with this motor and 4-speed transmission as you see it today. That hasn't bothered us from having fun on it all this time.... but I figure ya need ta know, specially if you are a collector.... but if ya just want to have fun, this is the one for you. Why am I sellin' it? Well, I've got a shed and garage full of older bikes and it's a real chore tryin' ta keep up with "takin' care of them" as they should be, so I'm thinnin' the herd. I only ride a couple of them regularly now, so it's time for someone else ta enjoy this little guy... and take care of it. So..... now ya know. Did I forget anything? I'm sure I did, heck, I'm pushin' 70 now.... I'm lucky I remember where the coffee pot is half the time. If ya have any questions... PLEASE ask! If I know the answer, I'll tell ya, and if I don't, I'll tell ya I don't know.... NO Bologna! I Realize that sometimes ya can't get a transport to pickup something in a week or two... just keep me informed, this little guy doesn't take up much room, so if ya need more time, it's not a problem, although payment "in full" is required within 7 days of auction end as listed... COMMUNICATION is the key to a successful transaction... just let me know if transportation issues arise. I WILL WORK WITH YOU, again... communication, communication. Arrangements and cost (see NOTICE below) of transportation is the buyers responsibility. I can help with the loading of your CT70 Trail 70. If ya want to come by and pick it up yourself, no problem. I can not "crate" this HONDA CT70. I do not have the tools, or "know how", to crate it for a safe and problem free trip. Sorry 'bout that. ALL transport pickup and/or buyer pickup, is after payment in full has cleared my bank... naturally. Once payment has cleared my bank, I will USPS PRIORITY MAIL, with tracking number, the Bill of Sale, and Owners manual and one (1) key (transporters usually want one (1) key with the vehicle). Transportation of this CT70 Trail 70 motorcycle is the buyers responsibility. Again, If ya have ANY questions about this sweet little Trail 70, PLEASE ASK. It's better to ask questions FIRST and not have any surprises later. This 1972 Honda CT70 Trail 70 is "for sale" locally also, so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Feel free to check my feedback, you won't be disappointed! BID WITH CONFIDENCEHAVE FUNTHANKS FOR LOOKIN'
