This auction is for a used 1999 Honda CR250R. I had bought this motorcycle new from the dealer in June of 1999. I bought this for use as a trail bike and it has never been raced. Unfortunately, it is a long distance to a place to ride for me, so it was only ridden on the occasional weekend for about the first 4 years or so of it's life. It has been sitting in dry storage ever since. I finally have decided to sell it. I had the front forks reworked by Factory Connection. I had replaced the original exhaust with the FMF pipe and silencer, and installed the carbon/Kevlar protector so it has no damage. I had bought a flywheel weight, but didn't like it that tame, so I took it back off. I have included it with the extras. Bike has a skid plate to protect the frame. I also installed the Magura Hymec clutch, billet aluminum magneto cover, and bark busters. Tires have only one day of riding on them, but are showing cracks from their age. Rear sprocket is stainless steel, and it has x-ring chain which are also low hours. For this auction I have replaced the air filter with the Notoil filter, rebuilt clutch master cylinder, replaced clutch line, and changed gear oil. I put fresh gas in it, and took it for a ride around the neighborhood, and seems to be running very well. The only real damage to this bike is the radiator is a bit crushed in on the one side from a fall, but it has no leaks and is fine for use. Otherwise, plastics are a bit scratched up from trail riding. Top end has been rebuilt once, and if I remember right has a Vertex piston in it. I have included some spares, chemicals for upkeep, original pipe, the obligatory blue crate, original manual, and new replacement left radiator shroud. This is a very nice, clean, low hour, well equipped and maintained bike that should provide good service for you. As it is quite old now, it is being offered as is with no returns.
