2001 60th Anniversary Jeep Cherokee 4x4 I’m selling a 2001 60th Anniversary Jeep Cherokee 4x4 with 107150 miles currently on it. This is one of the last Jeep Cherokee's produced as it was manufactured May of 2001. The Jeep is in very good condition for being nearly 15 years old. I’m the third owner of this Jeep and have owned it for 2.5 years. The first owner was an elderly woman that used it for getting up her mountainous driveway and the second was a middle aged Jeep enthusiast. The second owner is responsible for the 2.5 inch lift and adding bigger tires. None of the previous owners nor I have ever taken it off roading. I do live on a gravel driveway and will occasionally put it into 4x4 just to engage the transfer case and front differential. The Jeep has never been in any wrecks or had any body work completed. I daily drive this Jeep so the mileage will increase. I have recently moved from Atlanta Georgia to Asheville NC so the Jeep hasn’t seen any snow driving and has no rust on the rockers or undercarriage. I do have a clean GA title as I just moved to NC two weeks ago and will be leaving it titled and tagged in GA until it sells. I have always kept up with maintenance changing the oil and rotating the tires every 4500-5000 miles. I have recently had quite a bit of work completed on the Jeep to make it as reliable as can be. Here is a list of new parts: New front and rear brakes, including shoes, drums, rear wheel cylinders, disc, brake pads, front wheel calipers and bleed the system 10/2015 New Napa battery on 1/2016 New front and rear shocks 1/2016 New Track Bar 1/2016 New upper and lower control arms and bushings 1/2016 New steering stabilizer 1/2016 New rear hatch struts summer of 2015 Newer Michelin LTX M/S 2 255/70/16 tires, about 12k miles on them I’m sure there’s more I’m forgetting and will add if I remember more. The Jeep runs and drives just as it should and 4x4 works as well. There are no leaks or puddles under the Jeep, but normal seepage for a vehicle this age. The A/C and heat work 100% as does the defroster. The rear wiper works, the rear defroster works and the fog lights work. There are only two mechanical things I know that need attention, the cruise control doesn’t work and the passenger side speaker and window switch work intermittently. I haven’t had the cruise control repaired as I never use it and rarely drive far enough to need it. The Jeep definitely could use new speakers as they are the original and don’t sound good compared to today’s standards. The original CD player and tape player work just as they should. There are no weird odors and no stains in any of the seats or on the carpets/floor mats The exterior again has a few rock chips and could use an orbital buffer to wax out some water stains on the windows and paint. There is still plenty of depth in the paint and I believe the water spots will buff out. The bottom line is the Jeep is ready to drive anywhere and should be sound for years to come. Again I have a clean GA title and will also include all receipts for work completed as well as maintenance records.
