1959 Ford Skyliner Retractable Hardtop. Fairlane 500 Galaxie. The engine is an “FE” series Ford big block that starts and runs. The car came with: Power Steering, Power Brakes, Wonder Bar Radio, Padded Dash, Electric Wipers with a pedal mounted on the floorboard to operate the windshield washers (squirters). Both rocker panels under the doors are rusted. There is rust in front of and behind the rear wheels on both sides. The drivers floorboard is rusted. The front clip was replaced because of rust in the fenders. The car has not been wrecked. The bumpers are off but included with the car. There is no rust anywhere else on the car except as noted. She is very complete and unmolested. All the stainless trim comes with the car. Under the dash is just as it was when new. Because of the fuel system and non working brakes the car is not roadworthy. She has sat in a Phoenix warehouse with the top down for the last 36 years without being moved. The rear deck lid unlocks okay but the deck lift motor is not responding. She has never been butchered or altered in any way. Great car to restore. No Reserve.
