Vehicle Detail
1975 chevy pickup truck, 120,000 miles, 8ft. bed, 8 bolt 3/4 ton, 4x4, strong 350 4bbl, solid turbo 350 with shift kit shifts nice and hard, headers, very clean bed, and cab, and dual exhaust all the way out the back. Has the warn hubs, and the scarce indestructable np205 part time gear driven transfer case. Clean title, this truck is really clean and straight for the year, clean frame, the truck is in a black matt finish which looks pretty much to me like black primer, there is virtually no body work needed, to do a paint job i would say 80-90 percent of this truck just needs sanded, its that straight and clean, the few minor little areas that do need a little work are extremely minor, ill explain below in more detail, but this truck needs little else but a paint job to be really nice. Truck has good inspection till end of next summer 7/16, good driver, drives nice and solid, and tight, needs nothing to drive, i been driving it with no problems, took it on a few longer trips out of town no issues, runs nice and smooth, and engine has lots of power, this thing is a beast, it will go over, under, or thru anything. dependable and reliable, gas aint as bad as youd think either, had a new rebuilt carb installed not long ago, new starter, new gas tank not long ago. New set of rims and tires about a year ago, a very nice set of moto metal 17" rims, and yokohama geolander m/t 37x12.50x17 tires which all cost over 1700 new alone, tires still in decent shape, id say about around half tread left, so plenty of miles on them yet, they wear very nice and even due to the part time transfer case. The part time transfer case makes a big difference in gas mileage, tire wear, and front end wear and tear. The np205 transfer case makes a difference you can feel compared to chain drive models. The truck has a 4" skyjacker lift kit and shocks, slider class 3 hitch, and bumber hitch, front tow hooks, new tie rod ends installed not long ago, driveshafts all good. Has bully side steps for getting in cab, has original mirrors, has the cab grab bars. Interior is respectable, seat in pretty good shape, only a couple of minor rips on the passenger side, glove box missing knob, rest all pretty decent and complete. The few minor things it needs are, the gas cap door is missing, the small cable on the emergency brake pedal needs replaced, rest of the cables are good, and new cables were put into the rearend. A couple of the switches need replaced, the windshield wiper dash switch, and the heater motor speed switch, both are worn out, and the heater defroster control slider arm, the previous owner hooked up the windshield wipers and heater motor to a couple toggle switches, they work fine on the toggle switches, i was going to get the right switches but never got around to it, but all you need is the wiper switch, and id get the complete heater switch control panel, both are cheap. As far as the body, it is very solid and very clean , way above average, needs very very little actual body work, mostly just sanding for a paint job, the only places needing a little minor work is the front nose, and on each outter edge of the hood, and a few small bubbles, otherwise a very soild hood, you definately want to save the hood cause its a real GM hood, and a couple small minor spots on the rocker panel seam. otherwise a very clean straight truck you dont see to often. This is a prime year for this era of chevy trucks, in fact it may be the best year, and is valued much higher than later 70's models. This truck dont need much to become a high dollar truck depending on how far you want to go with it, but its basically just in need of a paint job, and some detailing and elbow grease away from being a really nice truck. What you see is what you get. The truck is insured, has a plate, and is inspected, and if you wish to see it in person, we can take it for a ride no problem. (Also, the tool box in the bed DOES NOT come with the truck, i just didnt have time to remove it before taking the pictures, but will be removed before auction end, its my own personal tool box so i need to keep it) Any question please e-mail me..thank you. As for selling the truck, im willing to ship it if you make all the arrangements to do so, and have it picked up, or in person if your within' reasonable driving distance and want to drive it home, this truck will make any trip, it has no issues, so you can drive it home, but im willing to ship if you prefer.
