The story: This truck is a consigment trade in for a friend who we purchased a new truck for . He isn't the most knowledgeble when it comes to diesel trucks. He new how to maintain it as far as oil and filters, but he stated that he is adding coolant every few days. We took the truck and had it inspected at the dealership. We found out that the tune he put it on was producing too much boost and this in turn blew the head gaskets. The truck starts up and runs great with no smoking or anything abnormal like that . The engine light is on for a couple of minor things and the vacuum pump for the 4wd they said was bad ( $50 on ebay). Could you drive it anywhere ? The truck might drive anywhere just fine, but I don't feel like giving a guarantee when it's this cheap . We personally put a 100 miles on it and it did not do anything funny.You are looking at a 2008 Ford F-250 Crew Cab Lariat FX4. It is powered with a 6.4L Powerstroke Diesel V8 and automatic transmission. It is equipped with power trailor mirrors, power windows, power locks, tilt, cruise, Navigation with am/fm/cd player, bedliner, and receiver hitch. Also included are the owner's manuals and one keyless remote.The interior of this truck is in great shape with respect to the age and mileage. The seats are in good shape with normal wear. The carpet is in good shape ( one or two normal spots) . Everything appears to function properly.The exterior of this truck overall is in good shape. There are a few small flaws as would be expected on a truck of this age and mileage, but nothing signifcant. If you are a serious buyer please call us and we will give you a walk around to make sure it meets your criteria.The windshield is in good shape.Mechanically, this F-250 starts right up and runs smooth, HOWEVER WE HAVE STATED ISSUES. The truck is DPF deleted and tuned with a Mini Max Tuner .The transmission shifts smooth. The a/c blows ice cold. The front end appears tight.The tires are weak and will need a new set.THIS TRUCK WILL BE SOLD AS-IS NO WARRANTY WITH ANNOUNCED ISSUES.
