1979 Pontiac Trans Am The Good:All original 79 Trans Am - 4.9 301 Engine with a 4-speedOnly 1590 of these made in 79 with these optionsPerfect candidate for a restoration or drive as is.New Clutch, Gas Tank, and CarburetorI have new gas lines and rear brake lines that will go with the car if I don't do the work prior to selling.The Not So Good:The original owner left a tarp covering the car when he was sent overseas while in the military. This has caused the roof to oxidize on the surface. There are NOT any rust holes. I believe that it only needs to be sanded down to knock the oxidation off and then primed.Small gas leak underneath the passenger side that I may repair prior to selling. It all depends on the temperature in my garage. I do live in upstate NY.Dent on the passenger side door.Small hole in the rear passenger side quarter panel. It is about a size of an inch in diameter. Everything is described to the best of my knowledge.Car is sold as is, where is with no warranty.
