Up for auction is a rust free 1970 Trans Am Tribute car. It started out in life as a 76 Formula Firebird with a 5.7 V8, and an auto transmission. It has been fitted with a 70 T/A front clip and nose assembly. The motor in it now is a 75 Pontiac 400 with 71 heads stamped 142 (275 HP), and a rebuilt turbo 350 trannny. There has been many upgrades to the engine that include an RV cam,mallory msd ignition, pro comp aluminum intake, holly 750 carb,and headers with new dual exhaust. The car came with power windows, that work, but are going up and down slowly these days as the motors are getting tired. It has tilt wheel, and A/C, but the compressor and brackets did not come with the car. It can easily be reinstalled with the proper components.All the glass is good, and all the lights work. there has been so much done to the car over the past year that I have owned it, I will just list everything that has been added or done to it. The seats how ever are not new, nor are the door panels. They are showing their age, but still in pretty decent shape, as well as the console.This car has all the benefits of the RTS suspension that came out in 76, with the looks of the 70 T/A.
