Hello, I'm selling my 2007 Ford F150 SuperCrew Harley Davidson Edition. I've owned this truck for about 4 years. It has been garage kept and is in really great shape. I receive compliments on this truck all the time. It currently has 125,400 miles. The Beautiful Black Leather interior is like new, the only interior imperfection is a little rip on the side of the drivers seat. The paint is in great shape, its still very shiny. The Tires have lots of tread left and are in good condition. There are a few minor scratches, but no dents. This truck is fully loaded, it has a power sliding back window, a sunroof, a Pioneer Bluetooth Stereo, Factory Subwoofer, a Roll and Lock retractable bed cover, Spray in bed liner, Chrome Step Bars, power adjustable pedals, Tow package, Vent visors, and Factory 22" wheels. The Truck has a loud tapping noise, but the Engine is really Solid. 2 Ford Dealers told me that it needs to have the Timing Guides replaced, but the engine runs great, I just took it on a long trip last week. The only other mechanical issue it has, is I replaced the Alternator with an aftermarket one and so every once and a while the battery light comes on and the message center says check charging system, but it goes off shortly. The Transmission shifts smooth, I've only towed with it a few times and the loads I towed were small. The Transmission shifts smooth and has not any issues.The Bad:I replaced the Alternator with an After Market one so some times the check charging system message comes on and the battery light comes on, but it goes right off fairly quickly. The charging system is definitely working properly even though the message comes on.I have noticed that the Truck has been low on oil lately, but I can't find any leaks, so it must be burning it. I haven't given it a tune up in a while with the fear of the 5.4 engine spark plug issues, but its probably time to have the plugs changed.The Engine runs very well, but it does have a loud tapping sound. I was told by have few dealers that the engine needs the timing guides replaced, I also think that there is a Exhaust manifold gasket leak, which can account for some of the engine noise. These 5.4 3V engines historically have issues. The dealer says its the guides but from doing my research on the web, it could be the Cam Phasers, or noisy Valves or lifters or all of the above. My engine does run well and I take it on long trips all the time and it does great, but you should know that there is a potential for extensive engine work with these engines. It could go another 100 thousand miles like this, or it may need some attention soon, I honestly don't know. Please do your research on them before calling me. Again my truck runs great, but I've got it priced with the assumption that you may need to do engine work in the future. The CarFax and Auto Check do show history of a minor accident, but the repairs were done flawlessly and you can't see any paint issues. This Accident happenened before I owned the truck. My intent is to be an honest seller and fully disclose any any issues with the truck that I know of. I have pretty aggressive offers from Local dealers so if it doesn't sell here, then I will just sell the truck to them. I just wanted to give a few regular people an opportunity to purchase a nice truck before the dealer adds on another 5K or so once they fix anything needed and then sell it.
