Reliable, Classic 1988 FJ-62 - Low Reserve! Very reliable vehicle that is kept in North Carolina for use when we're on vacation. We use our main Jeep Grand Cherokee for everything now, so don't get to use the Land Cruiser as much anymore. Want to find a good home for it. Strong engine, running smoothly, recently tuned. No overheating. Automatic transmission works perfectly. Resealed transfer case. New muffler. Newer re-spray before my ownership, in very nice condition. Have receipts for maintenance. 4WD/locking hubs work perfectly. Tires have lots of tread left. Cons: Rust around window of rear tailgate lift; slight indent on passenger door; AC needs a recharge; vent fan and cigarette lighter suddenly stopped. Either a fuse or a loose wire to blame, I believe. Paint on roof has faded. Rear seat has tape patch on vinyl on front side of seat. See photos for more detail on all described above. To conclude, I get waves and thumbs up every time I hop behind the wheel and leave the house or head to the beach. Extremely useful (and cool looking!) Safari rack included.
