Very rare 1975 2 door xj6c coupe. This is a 100% rust free Texas car. It has been retrofitted by a professional shop with a small block Chevy 350 and a 700r4 overdrive transmission. The car starts, runs, drives, idles, and shifts great. The engine is a mild build with an Edelbrock top end. Rims are from a series 3 xj6, tires only have a few hundred miles on them. Heat and ac work well. It does, as do most old cars, leak some fluid. The interior is in above average original condition. The rims are in good shape although 2 of the knock offs need replaced. The rear bumper has been with the chrome European style, it does have some pitting and chrome flaws. The front bumber has had the rubber enduro parts removed. The main issue with the car is the paint, when i bought and had the car shipped to me it was scratched by the shipping company. several scratches on the trunk lid. Deeper scratches on the roof and on the cowl and corner of hood. The scratches on the trunk may be buff-able, not sure. There are at least 10 spots on the trunk lid. The paint that was not scratched is in presentable driver condition. By no means is it show quality. It is a fun rare car and is now extremely reliable with the gm drive train. The exterior and a few parts in the interior do need attention. Radio does not work but, a new radio is in a box in the trunk. Please ask questions or have a pre purchase inspection done. The xj6c was only made for 3 yrs and the production numbers were low. They have independent rear suspension with inboard brakes. They are notoriously good handling and stopping cars. This car will handle corners even better with the wider series 3 wheels and tires. Feel free to ask any other questions.
