EBAY canceled first auction because I had an error on vin nnumber (sorry) For sale I have a 1989 Dodge Daytona. I had my eye's on this car for quite a while it was purchased brand-new in 1988 by a 69 year-old man. He died in August at 94 years old I purchased this from his estate and waited months for a clear title because of the red tape. I planned on keeping this car forever but things change so I must let it go. It has a 2.5 L four-cylinder engine and automatic transmission, also has cruise control and air-conditioning, but the air-conditioning needs an idler pulley replaced for the belt before it will work. The car runs and drives down the road great. I've been driving it for a while now and had no issues at all. It had not been driven since 2010. At one time or another it had a repaint so it still looks pretty good. It has a few miscellaneous dings and scratches but overall very nice looking car. It has 59,300 miles, last week I was driving it and the odometer rolled over two 59300 and the odometer quit working. The speedometer still works but the odometer does not and I don't know why it has quit but I just wanted to put that out front.I googled it and I guess there's issues with the plastic gear breaking for the speedometer but I don't know I'm selling it as is. The car has cloth gray interior that is in excellent condition the dash has no cracks the headliners not sagging the car is really in incredible condition and shows like it has 59,000 miles.I plan on keeping this car but I have other things I need to pay for so I decided to let it go. Please do not bid on the car and less you have the funds to complete the transaction within three days. I did buy the car from the original owner, and I have the original window sticker, the original sales invoice from the dealership, and a lot of miscellaneous paperwork. I only found a couple maintenance records however I did find 4 Missouri state inspection records. In 1992 when the car was inspected it had 14,383 miles, 19 94–21,102 miles, 19 97–32319 miles, in 2001 47,485 mlies. The inspection sticker that's on the windshield shows the last time it was inspected and re-registered with in 2010. The gentleman was 94 and he died in August 2015 when I purchase the car from the estate. It has a clean title now in my name as it took months of red tape through the court system to get the title released through a power of attorney .
