Restored 1968 Mustang GT (factory GT) J-Code fastback. I bought this car from my friend who had the restoration done about 6 years ago. The entire car was taken down to bare metal, any rust, rott, or previous body work was take out, and new metal put back in. The car was painted in PPG Atomic Orange, base coat/clear coat. The restoration took about 2 years and about $70,000 not including the purchase of the car. I have a thick file folder full of receipts (about $70K worth) and paperwork for the car. I also have a Marti Report and letter from Ford (currently trying to find) verifying the factory specs of this car. I also have the original build sheet that was found during the restoration. The original color was gulfstream aqua inside and out. There has been about 2700 miles driven on this car since restoration, and 211 miles on the engine and drivetrain. A CHP (coast high performance) 331 stroker (roller engine) was put in the car with a T-5 transmission. The car is very street able and mild mannered. Full stainless exhaust and Pypes brand mufflers. The car has power steering that is not hooked up due to the routing of the belt. A different set of brackets are required for the accessories in order to include the power steering pump. There is a small dent in the left rear quarter from a ladder in the garage (see picture) I have a set of 1968 mustang front disk brakes, painted vent louvers, lower center console, extra trap door, steering column and several other parts included with the sale. I also have a bunch of pictures of the car before, during and after restoration I will pass onto the buyer. This is an honest car and nothing to hide. I will answer or provide additional information as requested to include photos. I have a clean Indiana title in hand, I can help you with shipping as far as loading, or taking the car somewhere within 50 miles. This car has not been driven in rain, snow or any other bad weather since restoration. Car is and has always been garage kept since restoration. Payment must clear my bank before I will release the car and title to the buyer. Buyer is welcome to come out and inspect the car and more than welcome to bring in a broker at your expense if that makes you comfortable. I don't do payments or any other type of financing. Winning bid deposit is non refundable. This car is for sale locally (not advertised though) and could sell before the auction ends.
