A Great New Years Project........Happy 2016! Up for auction is a 1969 Ford Bronco U14 half cab. This is factory V-8 302 powered truck with the manual 3 speed on the column. This Bronco had the original 1969 302 rebuilt in the late 1990s by local reputable machinist and then put in storage. The previous owner told me that the axles had also been went through near the time the engine was rebuilt.When I bought it I pulled the plugs oiled the cylinders and rotated the crankshaft freely. I rebuilt the carburetor and it fires up great and idles perfect. I have driven it on the farm though it does not have functioning brakes and the transmission shifts through the gears. It does need the typical Bronco floor boards replaced as well as the floor in the bed but if you look under the hood the inner fender wells look good as well as the door jams look pretty good. The driver side rear jam has a couple of small holes.The rocker panels will need to be replaced also. The quarters have been cut for tires but I think with a set of aftermarket flares could be re-radiused and cut to allow the proper fit of the flares. I do not have the front fenders but I do have the grill which is a little rough. I do have a pair of bucket seats for the cab.The pipe bumpers were welded to the frame horns but I think they could be cut off and the frame horns cleaned up pretty easy. All of the glass is also there in the doors as well as the cab. The tailgate is there but is is rough also. Please ask any and all question prior to bidding.
