Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1962 Ford F100, Custom Cab, long bed pickup. This truck was bought many years ago as a work truck and it's performed flawlessly. This truck has been in Montana and the dry air here all its life so floor boards and undercarriage is clean and solid. Since I've owned, it, I've only had to change the oil, the battery, the solenoid and thermostat. It's been used as a daily driver and the vehicle of choice to teach my kids how to drive. The interior is very nice with the blue paint on the doors and dash, in very good condition. It has a 292 V8 Y block motor that starts everytime. The negatives on this truck is that the body has dents and dings that will need attention. The pictures were taken to show most. The is some minor cancer on the right front fender rocker panel down low and a little around the right taillight assembly. This is a truck you can drive while you restore it. Tires and brakes are good and everything electrical works fine except the am radio. Great entry level price for a classic vehicle. On Jan-16-16 at 11:38:38 PST, seller added the following information: Update: I've added some additional pictures by request showing the step plates in the cab, which are solid, the rockers, which shows some rust on the lower right fender and the left fender rocker is clean. I've also include a photo of the right rear quarter below the tail light near the bumper. I did not take pictures of the old Barden bumper up close because its old and needs to be replaced anyway. On Jan-18-16 at 11:55:24 PST, seller added the following information: I've been asked some additional questions regarding the condition of the vehicle. The back glass, side windows and wind wings are all good, intact and not yellowed. The windshield has two small chips of which one has started to crack. The engine uses regular gas but I put in the lead additive to keep the stems lubricated, per the advice of others. Yes it uses some oil between changes and for about the first minute or two of driving, will smoke a little, then clear off. As far as I know, the engine has never been disassembled, rebuilt or worked on. It's over 50 years old folks so theres no doubt it will require rebuilding. thanks
