I purchased this car with the plan of fixing it to be my daily driver. Unfortunately it needs a lot more work than I can handle at this time. Here's what I've done and what I know. When I bought it the seller told me it needed a distributer,(a common problem with these cars) so I replaced that, and the distributor, plugs, wires, coil, starter, and ignition module. I know that the spark plugs fire, I have tested the fuel injectors and they are working. What's left, I think it has jumped time and needs a timing chain job. The car is currently in Bay St.Louis Mississippi. I bought this car in September sight unseen from a craigslist listing. I live in Atlanta and have family on the Gulf Coast, so I thought I could get it running and bring it back to Atlanta to restore it. I have tried all the things that I listed in the listing, and still can’t get it running. So I decided to cut my losses and let it go, and find a car in the Atlanta area that I can restore. According to CarFax It has had about three owners before me. As to condition look at the photos, it needs work, but the body is straight except for that one quarter panel, the underside is straight and rust free, This could be a nice car, and personalized to fit your own desires.
