Vehicle Detail

1978 k5 blazer, 116,000 miles, strong 350 4bbl, aluminum edelbrock intake, headers, 4x4, new 350 turbo with less than 5,000 miles on it, warn hubs installed, and a part time transfer case conversion kit installed for part-time 4wd operation, A/C truck, clean title. This is a very solid truck, way better than average, this truck was completely redone and painted about 5 years ago and done right, its not perfect anymore, but is still very nice and in great shape overall, a very good looking truck with big potential, it has a few minor cosmetic blemishes which ill explain further below, but overall a mechanically sound, well maintained, sweet respectable truck youll be proud to drive, turns heads and gets thumbs up everywhere i go. Truck has fresh inspection, good till 11/16 and mechanically sound, and needs nothing, and is ready to drive and enjoy, i drive it weekly, it is a very solid tight truck, and handles and rides and drives smooth and tight, excellent brakes, stops and starts beautiful, dependable and reliable. Just put all new tie rod ends on. Tires have plenty tread, and will last a good while yet, this truck has a 2 1/2" lift on it, all springs, no blocks, and sits up a little higher than stock, and has a nice stance, not to high, just right. Has brand new transmission in it with less than 5,000 miles on it since installed, shifts nice and snappy, has good dual exhaust that comes out in front of the rear wheels, sounds nice. This truck has the warn hubs installed, and has the transfer case part time 4wd conversion kit installed, this makes a huge difference in wear and tear, and tire wear, and gas milage. Also a brand new heavy duty aluminum radiator was just put in not long ago. Engine runs beautiful, no issues, strong, and powerful, no puffs of smoke at startup or while driving, runs great. The only bad on this truck is a few minor cosmetic flaws, blazer emblem on driver side fell off and was lost, the three little white squares you see in the pics is just the 2 sided tape used to hold it on, the paint is fine underneath it just needs a new emblem. The previous owner let the drivers side fender get out of adjustment and the door rubbed some and chipped the paint some nothing terrible, just cosmetic. On the passenger side of the hood it has a slight bend in it where the hinge is at from closing it, they all do this, its very common, cant really tell, but its there, and it caused a few small areas of the clear coat to peel some in that small area, but its minor and not very noticable. And both outter, and inner rocker panels have seen better days and will need replaced at some point if you want it perfect, which is pretty easy, and those parts are cheap, and there is a few small surface rust areas on the bottom of the passenger side door, and the one corner of the rear quarter panel on drivers side, but all minor, and nothing terrible, all these areas are down low and hard to see, i was going to replace the rockers, and fix the few surface rust areas, and have a nice black stripe painted along the bottom of the truck, and have the clear coat blended in cause all the bad areas are down low, cause the rest of the paint job is still very nice, i was going to do that and ask more money for it, but i figured instead id just sell it as is, that way whoever buys it can do it the way they want, when they want, and it will keep the price down so it will be more affordable initially. Nothing bad on this truck at all, basically its just the rocker panels, and just the few areas these trucks are known for, otherwise very solid. Interior is pretty nice shape, dash is complete and working, gauges work, heater and controls all work, nice seats with no rips..new rubber floor mat in front and rear was installed awhile back. The floors and structure of this truck is very solid, way above average, and frame is very solid, the frame and underneath, and under the hood, and radiator support were all cleaned and painted black when redone, so stayed in great shape, and still looks good. The owner before me owned this truck over 11 years, and sold due to just not using it anymore, so its not been around the block or used much which is why its still a solid truck. The truck has a plate, insurance, and is inspected, i drive it many times a week, so if you want to see it in person we can take it for a ride no problem, very reliable, and wouldnt be afraid to travel anywhere in it. This is a great straight truck as is, and has high potential to become a top notch truck depending on how far you wanna go with it, but is sweet as is. what you see is what you get. So as well as being in really good overall shape, this truck also has had a lot of new parts installed during and after it was redone, as well as some extras such as the 2 1/2" lift kit, and transfer case conversion kit and warn hubs, so it has some extras as well. Also wanted to say, theres a lot of reflections in the pictures cause the paint is so glossy, they are just reflections from the surroundings, not imperfections in the paint. Any questions feel free to e-mail me...thank you. As for selling the truck, im willing to ship it if you make all the arrangements to do so, and have it picked up, or in person if your within' reasonable driving distance and want to drive it home, this truck will make any trip, it has no issues, so you can drive it home, but im willing to ship if you prefer.
