This is actually a 1992,I had to list it this way because it still uses the short Japanese VIN and Ebay wouldn't accept it.Street legal 1992 Daihatsu Hijet 4X4 pick up.runs and drives,4X4 works great.Everything works.has a new timing belt.I have owned this truck for nearly 2 years and it has been my daily driver the whole time.I have driven it up 70 MPH with no problem,gets 50 MPG.It is right hand drive,5 speed manual transmission.Sometimes hard to start in wet weather,probably needs a tune up.Other than that it runs and drives great.The only other thing about it is the previous owner registered it as a 1973 to bypass all the regulations that normally prevent these trucks from being street legal.The VIN# matches the VIN on the title and it is simply listed as a Daihatsu pick up.If You are put off by this,Please do not bid.I had no problem registering it when I bought it and it is still currently registered.This is your chance to by a drivable Japanese mini truck for less than most that can't even be driven on the road.
