I'm selling my 1999 Toyota Camry. It is a 4 cylinder LE with tan interior and black exterior. The engine has approximately 178,000 miles on it. I've described more details below. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for your interest. What condition is it in? Mechanically, I would say it is in an 8/10 condition. There are a couple mechanical repairs needed to get it to a 10 - but a great overall mechanical car. Cosmetically, I would give it a 5/10. It got hit on the right passenger door by a shopping cart. And the front left quarter panel was hit in a grocery store parking lot. It was a hit and run, so I don't know what kind of car hit it. I've driven it since then and there is no mechanical damage from either accident. It just looks like you got hit. Why are you selling it? My wife recently had a baby, so we bought a larger vehicle to accommodate for our growing family. Prior to that, it was used as my daily driver to work. I've also taken this on longer trips to Indianapolis (6+ hours round trip) with no issues. Does it have any mechanical issues? I took it to the mechanic for an inspection and they found two minor issues that do not impact drivability. First of all, it has a bent front sway bar. You can get one for $100 on eBay and take it to a mechanic to install. Just makes a clunky sound when you hit a big bump. Second, it does leak some oil. I doubt there are many 1999s on the road that don't. Does it have a clean title? Yes, it does. I have it in hand and ready to transfer to you upon vehicle pickup. How will the sale work? I will deliver this vehicle to you up to 20 miles from Evansville, IN zip code 47714. If you are further away than that, you will have to arrange to pick it up yourself or have it shipped to you. I don't anticipate shipping it will be worth the cost, so I would caution against bidding if you are more than 250+ miles away. The cost to ship would probably exceed 10% of the value of the car.
