Up for sale is my personally owned Cadillac EXT SUV that runs and drives well. The only reason I am selling this solid vehicle is that my contract to tow Portable Signs has changed to wrap larger box trucks, so there is no reason to hold on to this great running vehicle. To begin with, I bought this car about a year ago from a person who owned it for over 7 years and her son was a mechanic, so all maintenance was routinely performed. The car was originally in Rhode island so I did that journey effortlessly to New York and the vehicle ran quite well during all the back and forth from Connecticut to NYC a round trip of 186 miles a day. On a whole the vehicle is a great running vehicle that has had much maintenance and many new parts, and I will give a very forthright analysis of the vehicle in the following description. The Engine and drive train are excellent and run, accelerate and shift as they should. The powerful V8 engine leaks nothing and does not blow any smoke, and there are no check engine lights on at present. The complete Braking system was overhauled including all new rebuilt calipers, brake kines, pads, rotors and shoes on all 4 wheels, less than 3k ago. All the lights, electronics, AC, ON Star, Radio, Seat Adjusters, Climate Control, and all accessories work as they should. The only issue on electronics is that the cluster light sometimes goes out momentarily and then comes back on, but all gauges and accessories work. The Power Steering Pump has a small but noticeable leak and it should be replaced but adding about 10 ounces every 500 miles works as an interim solution to have no issues. The interior back of the vehicle is near flawless with no signs of any real wear. The Front Passenger seat has some mile abrasions by the lumbar area and the drivers seat has a tear on the lower half and the carpets will need a good cleaning to come up to new condition. New Floor mats have been installed all the way around. The exterior body panels have a few dings and minor abrasions. but are for the most part all straight and clean. The rear quarter panels have very minor surface rust that is depicted in the pictures and is hardly noticeable, but should be addressed to deter further deterioration. The rear left taillight also needs to be replaced. The rest of the body is rust free. Additionally, there is a towing package installed and it has a hitch and a Molex Connection Point at the Hitch Coupler and the Payload area opens perfectly and is clean inside. From a distance and with a fresh coat of wax this Escalade looks very presentable and is a great driver. The All Wheel Drive front end, braking system and electronics all work and a Brand new battery has been installed. The tires will need to be replaced as they have around 10% tread left and as the pictures depict one of them has a problem holding air, All in all this is a very fine serviceable vehicle and with a little work can be something pristine and is being offered at a NO RESERVE auction at only a $995.00 starting bid and the original MSRP of the vehicle was over 70k.
