That didn't work so I found it could wheel speed sensors so they were replaced. That also didnt work - it turned out to be a leaky capacitor in the computer caused a short. New computer = problem fixed. Apparently this was a common problem with these cars. So it has been addressed. This car was previously wrecked in the front end -- years ago. The repair shop must have done a half ass prep job so the paint started to peel on the hood. Front end was stripped of all paint and the entire car repainted with PPG paint to ensure a perfect match throughout. The car turned out beautiful. It looks like a new car --- no rock chips on the front hood and bumper or anything that you would expect on a car this age. I took it to Maryland state inspection. It needed brakes, exhaust, some suspension work and the steering wheel cover removed to pass MD safety inspection (which is strict). All work has been completed to get the inspection and should pass any state inspection in the country with ease. Car looks, runs and drives like a new car for a fraction of the price. If you are looking at this car, you probably already know that the 3.0L inline 6 2JZGE engine in this car lasts for a very long time. Ive seen them 250-300K still running strong. This car has been meticulously maintained and should provide years and at least 100,000 miles of trouble free service with just common maintenance.
