Very Rare opportunity to own a super clean low mileage Honda CB 500 four with just over 16,000 miles. Build Date 7/74. Bike was completely detailed and gone over. Here are some of the new parts installed during the restoration that was just completed: Battery, Oil filter, Oil, Spark Plugs, Fork Seals, Fork Boots, Chrome exhaust collars, Chrome Valve tappets covers, Air filter, front break pads, Throttle and Speedo cables, and chain. New Bridgestone Battleaxe Tires front and back. Back is one size UP from stock. Fork tubes have been polished as well as the carb bowls and all engine covers. Engine fins have been painted in proper high heat silver. Original Chrome is in near perfect condition on the rims and fenders. There is no rust anywhere on this bike. All lights and charging system work. I removed the turn signal buzzer and will include it in the sale. Carbs have been cleaned and synched. I have 2 original Honda Logo keys that match all locks and a few re-cut keys. Toolkit under seat is also included as well as a owners manual for a 1976 CB550 (I did not have one for this year) Previous owner tried to install black face gauges and broke the original speedo in the process. I have the original speedo showing 16200 miles in pieces. Previous title also supports the mileage. New title is mileage exempt as that is normal for 10 year old and older bikes in PA. He also creamed the tank to prevent it from rusting while the bike underwent a 2 year detailing effort. I will have the correct green face gauges for the bike before the auction ends and will install them. Paint on Tank has minor issues. I tried to show them in the pics. Just a few spots when the buffer went a little too deep. They have been touched up to the best of my abilities. Exhaust is original CB500 4 into 4 with some small rust holes towards the end (see pic left side top) and some on the bottom towards the rear. Bike is for sale locally. I will not end the auction early once the reserve is met. Reserve is well under $ 4000.00 based on similar bikes sold on eBay recently. If you have to have it NOW, the Buy it No price is included.
