Vehicle Detail

1968 Pontiac Firebird Convertable, Barn Find, 350 v8, 2bbl, factory Air Conditioning, Automatic 2 speed Powerglide trans, center console, rare factory 160 mph speedometer, Power Windows, Power Top, manual door locks, Rare factory etched A/C birds on glass, factory space saver spare, Firestone red line tires. Original books, Protect-O-Plate, PHS Documents, Certified Miliage Statement from Origional Owner. 71,869 Origional Miles. First owner, owned the car for 24 years and we have had the car ever since. The interior is all Origional. The car is probly considered a " Survivor" as well as a "Barn Find". The complete drive train is stock Origional with exception exhaust manifolds. the Origional manifolds had cracks and were replaced with headers in the 1970's. The car has had 1 repaint in 1992 as well as a new top. Paint is excellent. Then it was painted the Origional lacquer paint was chemically stripped from the entire car, and painted the Origional White in Base Coat/ Clear Coat, and today it looks fresh. History of the car: Purchased in Baltimore in 1968, and driven until 1975 when the Origional owner replaced the car with a Monte Carlo. The car was parked in the Owners Warehouse/place of business in a corner where it sat until 1992 when we purchased it. The car has not seen the rain or snow in at least the last 40 years. The floor pans are rust free and Origional. The car rarely gets driven and needs to go to someone who will enjoy it as much as our Family has. It should be driven to cruises and car shows to be enjoyed. I was offered a pile of cash for the car by a Broker that was going to send it to Sueden, I respectfully declined the offer. The car is going to stay in the states to be enjoyed by Americans.Thank you for looking, God Bless America!!!
