I am selling my 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62. It is in great shape, and is ready to provide another 25 years of service. The motor runs great, and the transmission shifts nicely. The 4X4 Hi and Lo range work great. But I have never taken it off the road to really try it out. I purchased this truck originally to be my daughter's first vehicle. So I went over it carefully, to insure it was safe and sound. I have all the receipts to show all the work done. Mechanically, this is one sound vehicle. No rust can be found anywhere on the body, and the paint is in great condition. It was repainted a few years before I bought it, and it is still shiny and nice. All the routine maintenance has been done recently. Fuel, transmission, and oil filters. New plugs and plug wires. New rotor and cap. And a complete coolant flush and changeout. I have replaced all the wear items on the truck within the past year. Belts, hoses, seals, gaskets, molding, etc. It has a new master cylinder, starter, battery, water pump, and thermostat. I installed a HFS lift kit on it because the original springs were worn out. New sway bar mounts (front and rear) were installed too. New shocks and steering stabilizer were installed at the same time. It has brand new tires that have a few hundred miles on them. I rebuilt the front end of the truck a year ago. At the time I rebuilt or replaced everything on the front axle. Bearings, seal, gaskets, and Birfield joints. The interior is in good shape considering the age. There are some stains on the carpet. See the photos to see where. The front seats were replaced 6 months ago. The driver's side seat had a broken frame, so I replaced both sides with Corbeau suspension seats, with the Corbeau factory brackets. I still have the factory seats if you want them. The A/C blows cold, and the heater blows hot (front and rear). A/C has been changed out to R134a. It has new JBL front and rear speakers, with a Kenwood head unit. The only thing that doesn't work is the power locks. It worked when I first bought it, but one of the solenoids failed, so I just disabled it. An easy fix if someone has the time. I still drive this truck quite often, so I know how reliable it is, and how much fun it is to drive. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
