Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1996 LS400. This has been the best vehicle I have ever owned - hands down. If you know these cars then you know what I'm talking about. They run forever and upkeep is minimal. It's been my daily driver for the past 5 years despite a run-in with another car approximately 3-4 years ago when I still lived in Maryland. I moved to Vermont a couple years ago and the winters are much more harsh and lengthy, so I decided to invest in an all-wheel drive. I bought 4 new snow tires last year, and they are still around 90% new. If you're asking why I never got the car fixed is because of the cost. I just started a new job when I got into the car accident and didn't have the funds, so I just kept driving it the way it was until just recently. I tried getting it inspected but VT inspection laws are really strict so it would not pass. Too bad, because the car still drives, steers, brakes, and is 100% reliable. There are no leaks, and pretty much everything works. This is a great buy for someone who knows someone who can do the work for a fraction of what a Lexus dealership would charge, or it would make a great parts car if you already own 1 of these. The engine still runs 100% and the interior is in great shape too. It's been sitting for a couple months, but I got out there this morning, and it started right up and I went to the store with it. This car still has plenty of life left for the right owner. With only 139,000 miles, the engine alone is probably worth more than the starting price for the auction. I'm not hiding anything. It's far from perfect but the starting price of the no reserve auction reflects that. I've sold 2 of my other cars on EBay over the years and have a solid rating. Ask me anything. I'll be glad to answer them. The car drives great, so you can drive it away if you want or tow it since the tags are out of date. Up to you. Transportation costs are your responsibility, and there is no warranty whatsoever. The car is being sold as-is.
