2006 Jeep Liberty CRD Diesel 4X4. If you are looking at this auction, you know what a Liberty CRD is and you know you want one. These were produced by Jeep and sold for two years here in the USA and is still exported to Europe. Unarguably one of the best small SUVs produced. Great torque and great mileage. This example is capable of 34 MPG on the highway. I purchased this CRD with 42K miles and it now has 78K miles. I absolutely love this little SUV; however, I got a wild hair and bought a Ram EcoDiesel, so the CRD needs to go. This example is in above average, very clean retail condition. I have taken very good care of this vehicle and have added or replaced the following: Green Diesel Engineering Full Torque ECM tune: This tune eliminated the EGR and boosted economy by 5 MPG.Green Diesel Engineering TCM tune: This tune to the TCM improves shift points for better towing and economy.Suncoast Heavy Duty Torque Converter: The factory converters on the CRD were not capable of handling the full diesel torque. The Suncoast converter is by far the best aftermarket converter you can buy for the CRD.New upgraded and improved transmission oil pump.TransGo shift kit: Improves shift response and economy.New brake pads. Replaced the original problem prone fuel filter head with upgraded and improved factory unit.190 degree thermostat.Weathertech floor mats and vent shades. Carpet is in excellent condition and has always had either the factory floor mats or the Weathertech mats installed.New 800 cold cranking amp battery. The CRD runs and drives like new. Idle is steady at 750 RPM after warm up. Temp after warm up is a steady 190 degrees, and does not fluctuate. Tires have about 75% remaining tread.This is a 2 owner vehicle as verified by Autocheck. It is a true rust free southern car having spent its whole life in Florida and Tennessee. Autocheck score is a very high 91. If you have been looking for a CRD, this is the one to buy. It is the cleanest and best maintained CRD that you will find anywhere. It already has the desirable and expensive modifications that improve performance and economy. Fuel economy with this CRD is phenomenal. I routinely achieve 27 MPG in town and 34 on the highway. It is set up for towing and is rated at 5000lbs.
